Ian is accredited as a Principal Building Surveyor with the Australian Institute of Building Surveyors, and is registered as a Principal Building Surveyor in the ACT and as a Grade 1 Certifier in NSW.

Ian holds a Graduate Diploma in Applied Science, Construction Technology from the University of Western Sydney (UWS).

He has worked in Local Government and the private sector, for BCA Solutions (NSW), before commencing BCA Solutions (Aust.) Pty Ltd and BCA Certifiers Australia Pty Ltd.

Ian's area of expertise is the assessment and approval of all classes of buildings in accordance with the Building Code of Australia.
