The Canberra Centre Expansion project is a multi-million dollar extension to the Canberra Centre. The project is divided into three major Precincts. Precinct A consists of two levels of underground carpark, two levels of retail and four levels of above-ground carpark. Precinct B consists of two levels of underground carpark, two levels of retail and one level of cinemas. The City Markets Precinct is the third stage, and is a refurbishment of the existing shopping centre. The expansion will accommodate over 100 retail stores, restaurants and a cinema complex.

The project was designed by Cox Humphries Moss and is being built by Construction Control Holdings.
